The Christchurch Quake seniors group meet for a weekly floorball session at the Ara Recreation Centre in Christchurch.

The sessions are social and inclusive and run year-round with a summer break over mid-December - January. All equipment is provided, and new players are always welcome to join any term session as a trial / have a go session at no cost.

Each session typically includes a combination of:

• A non-floorball warmup game or activity
• A short skills session and goal shooting for goalie warmup
• Floorball games
• Drink breaks with team strategy discussion and coaching tips.

The group will be divided into subgroups of any combination of players on the day based on the discretion of the staff running the session. For example, floorball games may be played in 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 format to suit the number of players attending and skill levels.

Players can attend on a simple casual basis, paying a fee for each session, or register for a term. Term registration provides club membership which comes with several benefits including discounted costs to play. The year is divided into four terms to provide more flexibility for players to register for any combination of terms that suit.
